Please email customersupport@voicetakeaway.com as soon as possible, but note that once an order has begun processing it is no longer editable.

How do I cancel my order?
If you wish to cancel an order please contact us immediately. Please note that once an order has begun processing or has been made available for download, the order can no longer be cancelled.

What is a Voice Takeaway customer account?
As a Voice Takeaway Customer you can browse the site, search through and choose clips, and head to the checkout without registering an account but to complete payment you will need to enter some details. You will set up your customer account as part of the checkout process. Once you are registered you’ll get access to the Voice Takeaway newsletter which contains exclusive deals and discounts.

What is Voice Takeaway?
Voice Takeaway is an online store where you can buy a wide variety of high quality audio clips voiced by professionals. You can choose from Grab ‘n’ Go pre-recorded clips, or you can go for a Made to Order clip that is yours and only yours.Unless you’ve bought a more comprehensive license from us, the audio available on Voice Takeaway is only licensed for non-broadcast purposes. Unless the appropriate license has been negotiated and purchased, our audio cannot be used in an advertisement, broadcast on radio, television or the internet, for re-sale or for any other purpose that does not comply with our terms and conditions.

How do I create an account?
You’ll have the option to create an account when you checkout. Simply complete the fields and set your password. You’ll then be able to login and re-access your download clips. Your information is NEVER sold to any other company and is kept completely private. Please view our Privacy Policy for more information.

How do I edit my account information?
Click the “ACCOUNT” link at the top right hand side of our site to edit your account information.

I forgot my password.
Click the “ACCOUNT” link at the top right hand side of our site. Under the login box you’ll see a link that says “Lost your password?” – that link will send an email to you with your password.

Receiving my clips

How do I get my clips?
If you’ve ordered Ready Made Audio your clips will be made available for download once you’ve completed the checkout process and paid (you’ll receive an email containing download links). You can also access your downloads by clicking the ‘Account’ link on our website – your available downloads will be listed at the top of the page. If you’ve ordered bespoke audio, or audio with production, your clips will be emailed to you within 14 days of placing the order. Nothing is sent out via snail mail.

How much does delivery cost?
Delivery of all Voice Takeaway audio is free! You can download your files through the website, or if your clips are being produced, we’ll email you.

How long will my personalised clips take to arrive?
Our standard delivery time is a maximum of 14 days. If for any reason delivery isn’t possible within that time (because the voiceover you’ve selected isn’t available or has lost their voice – it does happen!) we’ll let you know. If you have any queries regarding delivery times, please contact customer support and we will help you out.

Do you deliver to my country?
Please create an account by clicking the Account link at the top right hand side of our site. During signup we’ll ask for your shipping address details including country. If your country is not in the dropdown menu of available countries, unfortunately we cannot deliver to your country at this time.

Do I have to pay sales tax (VAT)?
You only have to pay sales tax if you are located in a country where paying VAT is applicable. VAT is ‘Value Added Tax’ and is added at checkout for UK residents. We will ask you for your equivalent VAT number if you’re based outside the UK.

What does ‘Voice Type’ mean?
At Voice Takeaway, we suggest six core voice types: fresh female, fresh male, smooth female, smooth male, rich female, rich male. Our site gives examples of these voice types to help you select your preferred voice style. As our featured voice artists only have limited availability (there are only so many hours available in a day!) we can’t always guarantee to always have your orders voiced by these individuals. If our featured voiceover artists aren’t available (sometimes they get sore throats, colds and go on holiday!) we will ensure that your order is voiced by a voice artist with the appropriate voice type.

If you need a specific voice, would like to book a celebrity or have any other special requirements you can use our casting service. Just send us an email with your requirements and we’ll do our best to help.

Standard delivery for personalised audio is 14 days.
